DIRECTIONS FOR USE:<\/strong>\u00a0Actellic 50EC is registered for use on store product and for the control of mites in pineapple.<\/p>\n

For the control of flying and crawling insects like beetles, weevils, mites and borers:
\nREMOVE OR COVER FOOD AND FEEDSTUFF BEFORE APPLICATION.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the control of pineapple mites: Actellic 50EC can be applied as a foliar spray using a boom sprayer.A second application can be made 7-10 days after the fist application if necessary. Actellic 50EC can be used 14 months after planting or 65 days after forcing* of the pineapple plants. *Forcing – flower induction; also known as ethylation.<\/p>\n

MIXING:<\/strong>\u00a0Shake well before use. Make sure that the spray tank is clean and not contaminated. Calculate carefully the required amount of spray mixture in order to prevent any left over in the spray tanks after treatments. Fill half of the spray tank with water and begin agitation. Add the required quantity of Actellic 50EC to the spray tank and complete filling. Maintain agitation during application and apply immediately. Do not pre-mix in bulk for more than a day’s work.<\/p>\n

COMPATIBILITY:<\/strong>\u00a0Compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides.<\/p>\n

RE-ENTRY TO TREATED AREAS:<\/strong>\u00a0Do not enter treated areas until all treated surfaces or spary deposits are dry.<\/p>\n

PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL FOR PINEAPPLE:<\/strong>\u00a083 days<\/p>\n

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:<\/strong>\u00a0Store in original container tightly closed, away form food or feed products. Triple rinse empty container, puncture and bury in wasteland away from water sources.<\/p>\n

ENVIRONMENT AND WILDLIFE:<\/strong>\u00a0Harmlful to fish. Do not contaminate ponds, ditches, lakes and streams with chemical or empty containers.<\/p>\n

Actellic\u00a0 50EC rate of application will depend on a number of factors including depth of the water, length of persistence required and species to be controlled. Most other mosquitoes larvicides require an increase in dose of up to 10 times when used in polluted or highly organic water. \u2018Actellic\u2019 50EC needs to be applied only at 1.25 times the rate recommended for clean water.<\/p>\n
